Message from the Headteacher – Mrs John
Well done to the student and staff community for organising a wonderful Christmas market. All funds raised went towards The Ollie Foundation. It was a special day on Thursday as it was great to see the community come together to have Christmas lunch. Thank you to our chef and his team for the delicious meal!
Headteacher’s commendations for this week are:
Nia Joshi (Yr. 7) for positive attitude and outstanding achievement across all subjects;
Grace Adcock (Yr. 8) for a significant improvement in work ethic;
Edward Palacio (Yr. 9) for an excellent performance at the Christmas Cheer event having only very recently started playing the piano;
Caitlin Carr (Yr. 10) for exceptional attendance, positive Classcharts awards and approach to learning;
Bethany Chapman (Yr. 11) for high number of positive points and not a single negative since October;
Sophie Reid (Yr. 12) for showing commitment and proactivity in arranging and taking part in a workshop at the University of Manchester as part of the Young Doctor programme;
Hamzah Hussain (Yr. 13) for continued excellence in his studies and a wonderfully positive approach to learning.
