Enrichment Days take place in the last week of the school year. We suspend the timetable and spend two days taking part in activities.
Students have the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of activities. Many of these activities happen in school and are at no extra cost. For example, last year students developed their jewellery making skills, worked on their passion in art and set up teams in a FIFA competition. They also took part in a variety of sports and created their own zombie video. We also ran a number of out of school activities such as trips to Whipsnade Zoo, Legoland and Hollywood Bowl. We also take students to venues where they can develop or learn new skills such as climbing, water sports and scuba diving. We hope that these days give students the opportunity to try something new and learn a new skill. We also hope students get to see new places and experience things they might not normally experience. For example, one popular trip takes students to London to take part in a scavenger hunt around the capital. Those who have love for football also have the opportunity to take a tour of Arsenal or Wembley stadiums.
In addition to this we have students taking part in residential visits. Our music students go on tour in Germany and our food students visit Naples to take part in some mouth watering activities.
It’s a fun packed few days!
