Mr J Foster, PE Teacher, writes;
It has been excellent to see so many students attending dance, basketball, athletics, table tennis and netball clubs this term. The extra-curricular timetable should be displayed on tutor boards so it is not too late to get involved!
Fixtures
Year 7
The Year 7 basketball team played very well at the basketball rally at Ridgeway Academy, coming in 4th place, Well done boys!
Well done to the Year 7 netballers after their 5-2 win against Ridgeway. Well done to player of the match Tyra!
Well done to the Year 7 girls football team who competed in the 5-a-side football tournament at Hertswood. Despite the very cold conditions, the girls put in a series of good performances!
Year 8
The Year 8 basketball team reached the semi-final of the basketball rally at Dame Alice Owens.
Well done boys!
The Year 8 netball team put in a very good performance against Dame Alice Owens, winning the game 8-5! Well done to player of the match Ilham!
Year 9
The Year 9 basketball team rounded off their excellent season with a 27-24 win over Mount Grace, meaning they finished 3rd in the district league. Well done on a fantastic season boys!

Student Shout Out
Well done to Aidan Wadley who represented the school in a county cross-country event against Year 9 students. He ran 4k in 16 minutes which is a brilliant effort especially in the muddy conditions!
