There are a large number of educational visits run at Stanborough. They are seen as an integral part of our offer to students at the school. These range from short local visits in the local area, to longer residential visits across the other side of the world and everything in between!

At Stanborough School, educational visits are an integral and valued part of our curriculum. We believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom, and our programme of visits is designed to enrich students’ academic understanding, broaden their cultural capital and support their personal development,including careers and future pathways.

- Subject‑specific trips linked directly to schemes of learning as well as enrichment
- Fieldwork, workshops and industry visits that support assessment and deepen understanding
e.g. Trip to SKY Studios (Media), Warner Bros Studios trip (Art), Exam board led Grade Booster trips for Year 11 and Year 13, Maths Challenges, Robotics competitions, Music competitions
Careers, Employability and Skills Development and Higher Education
- Careers fairs where students meet employers, training providers and apprenticeship organisations
- University and college visits that help students explore future study options
