SHARP Stanborough
At Stanborough School we’re here to help you with any concerns you may have, either at school, home or in your local community. SHARP is an easy way to report these concerns.
Possible examples of concerns are:
- You are being bullied
- You are concerned about someone else being bullied
- You are feeling unhappy at school
- You are feeling stressed at exam time
- You are concerned about crime in your community
- You are concerned about someone else’s safety
- You or a friend are unhappy at home
If you want to report any concerns please click on the MAKE A REPORT button below.
You will have the option of sending a report from a computer or smartphone.
You will also be given a choice about including your name and details or sending an anonymous report. It is easier to follow up your concerns if you give us your name. We will deal with your concern in a way which will protect your identity if this is necessary to keep you safe.
What happens when you make a report using the Report button?
Mrs John (headteacher), Mrs Daplyn (assistant headteacher) or Mrs Vlijter (assistant headteacher), will either help you with your concerns or pass them onto the relevant person(s).
If your concern is about a crime that has taken place outside the school, we will contact our neighbourhood police officer.
How quickly will someone contact you?
Your report will be followed up within 24-48 hours and sooner if it is urgent. However, please remember that this helpline is only in operation on school days.
This is not an emergency service but if you need immediate help outside of school hours please contact
Childline: http://www.childline.org.uk/ or telephone 0800 1111
Please take the time to look through the website and if you feel that you can help to keep our school a safe, friendly and fun place to be, get in touch using the above link.
This is a CONFIDENTIAL way to stop YOU, a FRIEND or SOMEONE else you have seen SUFFERING.
