Message from the Headteacher Mrs John
We opened our doors to 95 families on Monday and Wednesday as they joined us for the Open Morning visits. I have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback from so many of the parents and children who visited our school on these two days. Thank you to our wonderful ambassadors who were great role models.
It was wonderful to meet the students who secured this week’s Headteacher commendation awards. A student from each of the Year groups is selected to get this prestigious award on a weekly basis. Well done to our award winners!
Tameem Alom (Yr. 7) for positive attitude towards school
Freya Dobson (Yr. 8) for the support and kindness provided to a friend in need
Chloe Kunjasic (Yr. 9) for an outstanding attitude to learning in all subject areas
Alfie Mullin (Yr. 10) for 43 positive behaviour points and improved work ethic from Year 9
Jay Puranik (Yr. 11) for high reward points and no negatives
Taku Chioko (Yr. 11) for being a good citizen in going out of his way to help a member of staff
Holly Harvey (Yr. 12) for outstanding approach to studies and providing student leadership

Quote of the week:
“Life doesn’t get easier or more forgiving, we get stronger and more resilient.”

Thank you so much to our staff, parents and students for your excellent support in the last month.
Best wishes, Mrs John
