Bronze
A Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award programme has four sections: Volunteering, Skills, Physical and Expedition. Students need to do a minimum of three months activity for each of the Volunteering, Skills and Physical sections, and spend an extra three months on either the Skills or Physical section. It is up to the students to choose which one they want to do for a longer period of time. Students commence the Bronze award in Year 10 and complete their expedition locally.
They also have to plan, train for and complete a two day (one night) Expedition.
