Our admissions process to join us in September 2026.
In November we invited all prospective parents and students to attend our Post 16 information evening.
Here is the presentation from that event,
If you are a current Year 11 student at Stanborough School, you will fill out an options form via Microsoft Forms before your interview in January.
If you are an external applicant and wish to apply, please attend our Post 16 Information Evening for further details.
At Stanborough School, we are part of the Welwyn Hatfield Consortium which includes Monks Walk School, Bishops Hatfield Girls School, Ridgeway Academy and Onslow St Audrey’s. This arrangement allows a wider range of subjects and option combinations and therefore presents a Stanborough School sixth former with the very best choices for their future development. Additionally, learning away from your home school encourages collaboration, new friends and the opportunity to broaden your world view by working with a range of different teachers. Full support is given to each student through the respective school pastoral departments to help the settling in process and free transport is laid on to facilitate the movement between school sites.
The consortium website is now live and we encourage you to take a look at the huge range of courses we offer for students at Post 16, as well as the pastoral care and enrichment activities offered.

| 19th – 23rd June 2026 | Sixth Form Induction (attendance compulsory) |
| 20th August 2026 | GCSE Results Day 6th Form enrolment |
| 3rd September 2026 | Term begins |
