DEAR arrived at Stanborough School this week!

DEAR is Drop Everything And Read.

On Thursday for the first 15 minutes of Period 1, ALL students and staff dropped everything and read their book.

Students who arrived with a book and read silently for the 15 minutes received a Bronze Award too! The school is keen to promote a love of reading for pleasure, please ask your child what they read during DEAR time.

DEAR will be happening once every half term so now is the perfect time to buy your child a book for
Christmas so they are ready for the next DEAR!
