Admissions
We offer a detailed programme of preparation for Post 16 education which occurs throughout Year 11. Students will participate in a series of information sessions and workshops to appraise them of skills required for successful Post 16 study. The Stanborough Post 16 Information Evening in November is focused on what makes our provision distinctive and outlines the opportunities available to prospective students. In addition, the Consortium Information Evening in November enables students and parents to meet subject staff.
Students will complete and submit their Post 16 application to the Post 16 provision in January. During this time, all students receive one to one advice and guidance with a senior member of staff. Subject choices are confirmed in March and April.
At the end of the summer term there will be an induction programme for prospective students which includes taster lessons and an induction assignment. This is compulsory for all prospective sixth form students.
In addition, we have an induction process for Year 12 students at the start of the Autumn Term.
