STEM
STEM is an acronym referring to the academic disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The ‘Technology’ element includes both Design and Technology and IT and Computing.
STEM is for all students who might like a career in a related subject/field or who might just have a keen interest in these areas. At Stanborough we offer a range of clubs, trips, competitions and activities relating to STEM for different groups of students throughout the year. As well as these extra-curricular activities there is a focus on these disciplines in these subject areas and in careers education. We offer a range of GCSE, BTEC and A-level courses in these subjects that help students develop the skills and academic knowledge necessary to pursue these and other related subjects at university.
